Join us for a meet & greet event at a local mexican restaurant in Foley, AL. We will swap stories, share a meal and get details on the weekend’s events.
Individuals attending will be responsible for their own cost of a meal and/or drinks. We will be handing out a few prizes to get everyone in the mood!
Saturday February 24th / Walking The Plank in Foley AL

Come to the library to “walk the plank” on a scavenger hunt throughout the library. Gather “pirate booty” and maybe learn a thing or two about pirates.
Many prizes to be drawn for along with the “pirate booty” you gather.
Sunday February 25th / Swabbing The Deck in Foley AL
10AM - 10:30AM
Join us at a park in Foley to play “deck” games. What is a deck game you ask? Pirate ship decks are made from wood so expect a few wooden games and also some games from a “deck” of cards.
Prizes to be drawn for during this event.
Monday February 26th / X Marks The Spot in Pensacola FL
9:30AM - 10:00AM
Join us for a meet and greet at the Pensacola Visitors center, after join us for an optional activity as we spray paint the graphitti bridge with our geocaching usernames and other geocaching related graphics
Monday Feb 26th / Davy Jones Locker Bash in Pensacola FL

Meet and Greet at the Pensacola Brewery. First 20 geocachers will get a beverage paid for on behalf of Bamarama by shouting Long Live Bamarama prior.
Tuesday Feb 27th / Land Ho at The Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores AL

Join us for a Meet & Greet at the Baldwin Country Museum. Our Gadget Cache Builders will be launching their Gadget Adventure Labs throughout the Museum. Labs will be available throughout the week of BAMARAMA
Wednesday Feb 28th / Plunders Pint Shindig at The Wharf in Orange Beach AL
6:00PM - 8:00PM
Join us at Smart Pour at the Wharf in Orange Beach AL for a fun meet and greet. First 20 geocachers that shout Long Live Bamarama will recieve a free beverage on us. Explore the Wharf after and complete all the AL Labs and caches the area has to offer.
Thursday Feb 29th / Pirate Plunder Cleanup CITO in Foley, AL
10AM - 12PM
Meet us in Foley AL at the Downtown Park. There we will split up in groups and tackle different parts of the city of Foley in an effort to cleanup the area better than it was left. Prizes will be given away for the best trash found and dress in your pirate attire to make it more fun.
Thursday Feb 29th / Yo Ho Ho & GPS Poker Run in Elberta AL

Join us for a Meet and Greet at the Elberta Gazebo. After the event a new AL will publish as well as other icons to find on Leap Day as well. Enjoy a 20 Stage AL Lab that will take you throughout the small town of Elberta. After stop by The2Lauras for a Bonfire and Crockpot Buffett. We ask that you bring a side dish to pass. This will be a great way to end your Leap Day adventures.
Friday March 1st / The Seadogs Social at The Flora Bama in Orange Beach, AL
10AM - 11AM
Meet and Greet at the Flora Bama. Chat with other geocachers from around the world. During the event door prizes will be given away and after the event complete a scavenger hunt throughout the Flora Bama and get a FREE drink card provided from the Flora Bama. Then stay after for lunch at one of their 3 different restaurants on site.
Friday March 1st / The High Seas Hullaballo at Pirates Cove in Elberta, AL
4:00PM - 6:00PM
Fun meet and greet at Pirates Cove! Location is famous due to Jimmy Buffet. This is a dress up event! Best dressed pirates will win coveted prizes and trophys. Fair warning if you don't dress up... a prize will be given to the worst dressed pirate as well.

It's the Main Event. Prepare for hours of endless activities to keep you busy throughout the day. At the end we will take our event group photo and announced 2025's theme. Full schedule can be found on main event page.
Saturday March 2nd / Going Down With The Ship Bonfire in Elberta AL

A bonfire to celebrate an end to a long week of varied events. Bring something yummy to share at this potluck. Bring your own folding chair too….seats are limited!!! Bring a flashlight for a walk in the woods after dark. We will be playing easy 60’s & 70’s music to chill you out. This will be at The2Lauras’ compound
